About the Artist:
Tom, a 30 year glass blowing veteran has hand blown glass in the Hudson Valley for nearly thirty years designing and making functional glassware for home and table. Each piece is individually crafted using tools and techniques that are centuries old. Though traditionally crafted, his work shows a contemporary sensibility. Key to Tom’s success as a craftsman and small business owner is the dedication to the idea that using hand-made objects can enrich our everyday lives. Throughout Tom’s career his work has been shown in numerous exhibitions and invitationals. He was the recipient of an American Craft Museum Design Award. His work can be seen in fine galleries nationwide.
